Can I open AB3DEdu Software using my mobile/iPad/tablet?

AB3DEdu Software can only be opened using Windows or Mac laptops.

How can I upload a PNG image?

Click on the drawing area, and a tool shaped like a picture will appear. Click on it and upload the image through it.

How can I name the project?

Follow this format to name the project: Student’s Name – Class – Project Name.

What are the methods for saving a design file?

The first method: Save the design file in AB format.

The second method: Save the file in STL format to prepare for 3D printing.

Why is it not drawing properly?

Click on Settings and ensure that the “Snap to Grid” option is disabled.

What are the dimensions in which we save the project as a print file?

How to draw Octagon ?

To draw Octagon using the hexagon tool, press and hold the mouse or pad, and before releasing, press the up arrow key on your keyboard, refer to the attached file

How can I select the shape and start drawing on it?

Select the Select tool (shaped like an arrow), then click on the shape from the outside and drag the cursor inward until the lines turn green. For more information on other tools, refer to the attached file.

How can I draw freely?

Choose the Line tool, then go to Settings and uncheck the Snap to Grid option to draw freely. For more information on other tools, refer to the attached file.

How can I zoom in and out of the drawing screen?

You can zoom in and out of the drawing screen by scrolling the mouse wheel (Zoom), or by clicking on the Front option, for example.

How can I download an SVG image?

Download the attached file and extract it. Then, click on the location indicated in the image.

How can I display the drawing screen?

How can I copy the shape?

There are two solutions to copy the shape: Right-click to display a set of tools, choose Copy, and then use the same method to paste (Paste). Or use the Auto Mode tool. For more information on other tools, see this video (Explore the magic tools)

"Why do we need Layers in design? Do we draw all shapes in the same Layer? And how do we color the shapes? "

This program is designed for drawing according to the projections of the model to display it in 3D. One of its unique features is that the drawing process requires using one or more layers, depending on the complexity of the model. For further learning, see this video.

What do we mean Three-dimensional ? What are they?

Where can I find the design file AB that I worked on, and the STL print file?

Regarding the files you designed in STL and AB formats: These files are saved in the design program’s folders. You’ll find the AB file in the Drawing Files folder and the STL file in the Print Files folder. It’s recommended to save your design and print files on your desktop for easier access.See this video.

I cannot open the STL file of my design ?
